Being smarter

I love the quote from this article about Google's ad operations.

"whom we've heard described as an "incredibly smart, high IQ type," that is "not a good manager or people person or leader."

Reminds me of a line in the employee handbook from my old company

"I promise to be nicer if you promise to be smarter."

Well, it was my personal employee handbook that I carried around - not everyone got one.
